Oman, Pakistan discuss means of enhancing cooperation in food security

Muscat: Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, held talks with Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab Province in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on avenues of joint cooperation in food security, agriculture, water resources and livestock, as well as ways to develop partnerships and exchange expertise and experience.

The meeting reviewed opportunities for cooperation in the deployment of modern agricultural technologies, the development of water resource management, and the enhancement of investment and innovation. These efforts support food security and sustainability and open new horizons for cooperation between the two friendly countries.
