CDAA conducts field inspection of Muttrah Cable Car to verify safety readiness

Muscat :The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), in cooperation with the National Search and Rescue Team has conducted a field visit to the Muttrah Teleferik (Cable Car) to enhance operational readiness and strengthen safety measures ahead of its launch. 

CDAA said in a statement :"The Civil Defence and Ambulance Unit in Muscat Governorate, in cooperation with the National Search and Rescue Team, conducted a field visit to the Muttrah Teleferik (Cable Car) to enhance operational readiness, review the project, and ensure the readiness of safety systems, including meeting international standards, and to promote the safety of visitors and staff."

The joint operation focused on reviewing emergency evacuation protocols, evaluating technical safety systems, and verifying response readiness to ensure full alignment with international safety standards.

The initiative forms a key component of operational preparations aimed at safeguarding both visitors and staff prior to the launch of the landmark tourist attraction.
