North Al Batinah coast guard arrests three Asians for illegal entry, marijuana smuggling

Muscat: A Coastal Guard Police Unit in North Al Batinah Governorate has apprehended a boat carrying three individuals of Asian nationalities near the shore of Shinas State while they were attempting to enter the Sultanate of Oman illegally.

The suspects were also found attempting to smuggle a quantity of marijuana into the country.

Legal procedures are being completed against the individuals.
