ROP arrests three in Quriyat over attempted smuggling

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) Coast Guard Command arrested three individuals of Asian nationalities on a beach in Quriyat  while they were illegally entering the Sultanate of Oman.

The suspects were found attempting to smuggle more than 66 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine into the country with the intention of trafficking it.

The ROP said legal procedures are being completed against the suspects in connection with the case.
