
Muscat: Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss the latest regional developments.
During the call, the two ministers emphasized the importance of halting military escalation and advancing peaceful political solutions that consider the interests of all parties.
They also underscored the need to safeguard freedom of navigation and ensure the uninterrupted flow of commercial shipping and energy supplies through the Strait of Hormuz, in accordance with international law.
The discussion reflects ongoing diplomatic efforts by both countries to support regional stability and maintain the security of one of the world's most strategically important maritime routes.
