Oman, Iran foreign ministers discuss regional developments, Strait of Hormuz security

MuscatSayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister received a telephone call today from Dr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the call, the two ministers reviewed the latest regional developments and exchanged views on efforts aimed at supporting sustainable and just political solutions that enhance security and stability in the region.

Both sides also reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the freedom and security of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, in line with their sovereign responsibilities over territorial waters, international law, and the interests of regional and international stakeholders.
