First day of Eid Al Adha announced in Oman

Muscat: The Main Committee on sighting the crescent moon of Dhul al-Hijjah for this year has announced that the moonsighting was confirmed this evening.

Accordingly, Monday, May 18th, will be the first day of Dhul al Hijjah, and Wednesday, May 27th, will be the first day of Eid al-Adha.
