Committee tasked with elections of municipal councils holds first meeting in fourth term

Muscat--- The main committee tasked with elections of municipal councils today held the first meeting in the Municipal Councils' Fourth Term.

The meeting was chaired by Eng. Khalid Hilal Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed the plan set for the electoral process and examined procedures for submitting candidacy applications. It also reviewed the readiness of electronic systems and apps used in the elections.

The committee discussed other topics on the agenda and took relevant decisions.
