
Barka: The branch of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) in South Al Batinah Governorate on Monday organised an event titled “Investment Opportunities Forum 2026” under the theme "Sustainable development entails comprehensive economic partnership".
The forum was organised in cooperation with the Office of the Governor of South Al Batinah, with the participation of 11 establishments from the public and private sectors. It was held under the auspices of Sheikh Sabaa Hamdan Al Saadi, Secretary General of the Secretariat General for National Celebrations.
The forum saw the unveiling of more than 100 investment opportunities and the offering of more than 40 investment sites whose total area exceeds 6 million square metres distributed in the wilayats of South Al Batinah Governorate. It also included the launch of the “Investment Opportunities Guide” that serves as a comprehensive reference for investors. In addition, the forum highlighted success stories in the governorate.
A key feature of the forum was an exhibition that showcased prominent projects, initiatives and programmes related to investment and development, in addition to highlighting investment and partnerships opportunities that abound in the South Al Batinah Governorate. The forum aimed to opening up more vistas for cooperation between the authorities concerned and investors.
