Child dies in drowning incident in Al Khaboura

Muscat: Rescue teams from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Unit in North Al Batinah responded to a drowning incident involving a child in a valley in the Wilayat of Al Khaboura.

The child was retrieved deceased.

The authority urges citizens and residents to closely monitor their children and to prevent them from swimming in non-designated areas or valleys, especially during periods following rainfall.
