HH Sayyid Fahd Al Said passes away

Muscat : The Diwan of Royal Court has announced the passing of His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers of the Sultanate of Oman, on Thursday morning, March 12, 2026, said the Oman News Agency (ONA).

ONA said: "Statement from the Diwan of the Royal Court: With hearts that surrender to the will and decree of the Almighty Allah, the Diwan of the Royal Court mourns HH Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, who passed away this morning, Thursday, 22nd of Ramadan 1447 AH, corresponding to 12 March 2026. His passing follows a lifetime of unwavering dedication and selfless service to the beloved homeland, which he served faithfully from the dawn of the blessed Renaissance."
