
Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its deepest condolences to the State of Kuwait on the death of two members of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces while performing their national duties.
"The Ministry of Foreign expresses the deepest condolences of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait, its government and people, on the martyrdom of two members of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces while performing their national duties," a statement said.
"The Sultanate of Oman affirms its solidarity with the State of Kuwait in this painful loss and affirms its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability."
"The Ministry also extends its sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs, praying to God Almighty to grant them His mercy, to grant the injured a speedy recovery, and to protect the State of Kuwait and its people from all harm."
The Kuwaiti General Staff mourned the loss of Sergeant Waleed Majeed Suleiman, and Sergeant Abdulaziz Abdulmohsen Dakhel Nasser, members of the Kuwait Naval Force, who were martyred while performing their duties as part of the armed forces' assigned tasks.
