
Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister,held a series of telephone conversations with a number of his counterparts in brotherly and friendly countries, as well as officials of the European Union, to discuss the serious developments unfolding in the region.
During the calls, the parties exchanged views on ways to contain the escalating tensions and emphasized the importance of de-escalation efforts. His Excellency underscored the need for all sides to exercise maximum restraint and to prioritize dialogue and diplomatic channels to resolve the ongoing conflict between the United States and Israel on one side, and the Islamic Republic of Iran on the other.
He reaffirmed his country’s commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at restoring calm, enhancing regional security and stability, and encouraging peaceful solutions in accordance with international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter.
