Muscat: Yalla Shabab have been crowned champions of the OC 50 Overs Super League 2026, completing a flawless campaign to lift yet another prestigious 50-over title.
Yalla Shabab were victorious in all five of their matches, finishing the league stage with a perfect 5 out of 5 wins to emphatically secure the championship. IAS CT finished as runners-up after an impressive season of their own, registering four victories and pushing the competition strongly until the final standings were confirmed.
Demonstrating consistency, depth, and championship character throughout the season, Yalla Shabab outperformed the competition to finish at the summit and secure the trophy. The triumph further strengthens the club’s reputation as one of the leading forces in Oman’s domestic cricket landscape.
A standout performer this season was Yalla Shabab’s Zohaib Amanat, who emerged as the league’s highest run-scorer. Zohaib amassed a remarkable 506 runs in just five innings, including three centuries, at an extraordinary average of 168 — underlining his dominance with the bat and his pivotal role in the team’s success.
On the bowling front, Siddharth Bukkapatnam of Muscat CT finished as the league’s highest wicket-taker, claiming 14 wickets in five innings at an impressive average of 11.5, showcasing the high standard of competition throughout the tournament.
