Muscat: The Ministry of Education has announced that all public, private, and international schools in Musandam Governorate will transition to remote learning on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
This precautionary measure has been taken in direct response to the heavy rainfall and severe weather conditions currently affecting parts of the governorate, as forecasted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Authorities across the Sultanate confirmed they are closely monitoring the weather situation.
The Ministry of Education urges all residents, particularly those involved with the education sector, to follow official updates from the Ministry and the CAA. The public is reminded to adhere strictly to all safety guidelines issued during the weather alert period to minimise risks associated with the severe conditions.
