Salalah: The number of visitors to Dhofar Governorate during the Khareef (monsoon) season from 21 June to 31 August 2025, increased by 2%, reaching approximately 1,027,255 visitors compared to 1,006,635 visitors during the same period in 2024.
Initial estimates of Khareef Dhofar 2025 visitors, released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), show that the number of Omani visitors increased by 71.5% to 734,225. Visitors from other GCC countries totaled 179,246, while visitors from other nationalities reached 113,784.
A total of 251,064 visitors arrived in Dhofar by air by the end of August 2025, while 776,191 visitors came through land checkpoints, a 1.3% decrease compared to those who arrived by land by the end of August 2024.
