Europcar Oman & Bahrain proudly hosted the Oman National Golf Team at its state-of-the-art headquarters in Muscat this week. Around 20 male and female golfers, along with their National Coach Jonathan and two esteemed board members of the Oman Golf Association – Ahmed Jhadhamy and Nikhil Sampat – gathered at THE BOARDROOM by Europcar, the company’s premium executive engagement space.
THE BOARDROOM has quickly become a landmark for leadership connections, wellness, and creativity in Muscat. Designed to blend modern infrastructure with lifestyle amenities, the space goes far beyond a traditional meeting room. Equipped with advanced AV technology, it also offers unique access to Europcar’s gaming lounge, a private movie theatre experience, wellness lounge, and the Europcar Café – where specialty coffees, karak chai, and light bites meet high-speed WiFi.
The venue has already hosted leading organizations such as Travelex, who recently onboarded new team members in the space. With its fusion of productivity and lifestyle, THE BOARDROOM is setting a new benchmark for how corporate and community gatherings can be experienced.
Beyond the event itself, the occasion reflected Europcar’s massive and long-standing support for golf in the region. Over the years, Europcar has been a proud partner to the Oman Golf Association, all four major clubs in Oman – Al Mouj Golf, Ghala Golf Club, Ras Al Hamra Golf Club, and La Vie Golf Club – as well as the Royal Golf Club in Bahrain and community-driven private groups such as Milly’s, ensuring that golf continues to thrive both as a professional sport and a grassroots passion.
And the momentum continues: the countdown has begun to the prestigious 11th edition of the Europcar Open at Al Mouj Golf on 5th December – a flagship tournament that brings together the region’s corporate golfing community in celebration of sport, competition, and camaraderie.
“Supporting golf across Oman and Bahrain has always been close to our heart — from OGA to clubs and community groups. Our commitment is to support golf and build golf-driven tourism opportunities that showcase this region to the world.”
— Nitin Sapre, CEO, Europcar Oman & Bahrain
The gathering not only highlighted Oman’s growing stature in global golf, but also reinforced Europcar Oman & Bahrain’s role as a connector of people, ideas, and communities in the region.
