Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), has held a meeting to enhance preparedness and readiness to respond to hazardous materials incidents in Musandam Governorate.
The Hazardous Materials Incident Response Team at the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority held a meeting in Musandam Governorate, chaired by the Major General, Chairman of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority, with the attendance of several representatives of relevant authorities.
This meeting comes within the framework of efforts to enhance preparedness and readiness to respond to hazardous materials incidents. During the meeting, response plans and standard operating procedures were discussed, in addition to enhancing coordination and integration among various entities to achieve an effective response to hazardous materials incidents.
This meeting reflects the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority's commitment to enhancing risk management efficiency and activating institutional partnerships among relevant authorities.
