Stranded whale rescued in Shinas, returned to sea

Shinas: The Environment Authority in North Al Batinah Governorate received a report about a whale stranded in Shinas. A stranded whale was found near Al Duwanij Beach in Shinas.

Specialised teams from the Environment Department in North Al Batinah Governorate began dealing with the incident. Due to the sea being at low tide, the situation was monitored until it changed to high tide. The whale was returned to the sea on Friday in good condition.

It is worth noting that the stranded whale was a blue whale, approximately 8 metres long. Rescue teams from the Environment Department in North Al Batinah Governorate have made great efforts to rescue it and return it to its natural environment.
