A’Suwaiq: The development project for street vendors in Al Khadra area in the Wilayat of A’Suwaiq has reached 80% completion, according to the North Al Batinah Governorate Municipality.

Eng. Mohsin Mohammed Al Ajmi from the municipality's Projects Department stated that the project aims to create a safe, hygienic environment while regulating commercial activities.

The development includes multiple facilities, namely shaded structures covering 460 square metres for 20 fruit and vegetable stalls, dedicated fish-selling areas with 10 cleaning and cutting stations, and infrastructure upgrades featuring a 580-metre paved road, 70 parking spaces, and 15 lighting poles- all within a total area of approximately 2,970 square metres.

Al Ajmi emphasised that this initiative strengthens support for small-scale economic activities while enhancing urban aesthetics, reflecting the municipality's commitment to delivering quality community services and achieving sustainable regional development.
