Muscat— The joint committees between the State Council and the Shura Council held a meeting to discuss several disputed articles related to draft laws on combating human trafficking, state revenue collection, and real estate regulation, referred by the Council of Ministers.
The meeting was attended by members of both councils and the Secretary-General of the State Council.
The number of disputed articles between the two councils reached 14 related to the anti-human trafficking draft law, 12 concerning the state revenue collection draft law, and 13 in the real estate regulation draft law, in addition to new articles introduced by both councils.
The meeting concluded with the committees reaching consensus on all disputed articles. A report will be submitted for discussion during the joint session between the State Council and the Shura Council.
