Bukha: The 3rd Musandam Carnival kicked off today at Hil Tourist Beach in the Wilayat of Bukha, Musandam Governorate. The 5-day carnival is organised by Musandam Governorate in cooperation with government establishments and private enterprises.
The carnival constitutes part of ongoing entertainment activities of Musandam Winter Season.
The ceremony, held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Nawaf Barghash Al Said, included operettas and competitions.
Abdullah Ahmed Al Shehhi, Assistant Head of the Musandam Governor's Office, said that Musandam Carnival highlights the governorate's efforts to promote tourism, enrich local content and conduct activities and entertainment programmes that address all segments of society.
He explained that the carnival will include a set of entertainment and cultural activities and events, daily shows, theatre shows and products made by local families, restaurant divisions, competitions and other activities.
