Muscat: The 14th Middle East and North Africa Clinical Toxicology Association (MENATOX) Conference began in Muscat on Sunday.
The conference discusses the latest developments, research and scientific discoveries related to the treatment of various poisonings.
The 4-day event is participated by more than 150 experts from various countries of the world.
The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Abdullah Ali Al Amri, Head of the Environment Authority.
Several regional meetings are held during the conference. These meetings aim to boost cooperation in this field between countries of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
