RAFO conducts search and rescue, medical evacuation operations

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) conducted a search and rescue operation in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate to rescue a citizen who had fallen from a mountain cliff in the Al Afiyah area of Samail province. The injured individual was airlifted from the accident site to Samail Hospital for necessary medical examinations and treatment.

In another case, RAFO carried out a medical evacuation operation for a female citizen whose health condition required urgent air transport from Khasab Hospital in Musandam Governorate to the Royal Hospital in Muscat Governorate for specialised treatment.
