Europcar Oman & Bahrain, a pioneering force in mobility services, recently hosted its highly anticipated annual staff gathering at Kempinski Al Mouj. The event brought together team members from all corners of the organization, creating a day filled with joy, unity, and recognition. Rishi Khimji, the Managing Director at Ajit Khimji Group LLC, a part of Asha Enterprises, owner of the Europcar Oman and Bahrain franchisee, also graced the event.
The day kicked off with an energizing opening speech that celebrated the company's successes in 2024 and set the stage for even greater achievements for 2025. The foundational values of excellence, innovation, and teamwork were highlighted as the driving forces propelling the company forward.
CEO Mr. Nitin Sapre took the spotlight, delivering an inspiring message that emphasized the importance of proactive measures and leading by example in the pursuit of success. Nitin's words infused the day with optimism and purpose, setting a positive tone for the activities ahead.
Fifteen lucky employees earned raffle tickets through an engaging spin-the-wheel game, leading into revitalizing team-building aquatic activities hosted by Oman Sails. From kayaking to banana boat rides and sailing, the team participated in a variety of thrilling activities. These activities required effective communication to coordinate movements, ensure safety, and work towards common goals. Team members learned the significance of collaboration and trust in overcoming challenges and achieving success, building resilience along the way.
The event also underscored Europcar's commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) by supporting the Oman Hereditary Blood Disorder Association (OHBDA) for their impactful work. Prof. Salam Al Kindi, the Deputy chairman of the Board elucidated their mission, delivering an enlightening discourse on preventing and managing thalassemia, and raising awareness to improve the quality of life for individuals affected by blood disorders. Another initiative that we are also supporting this year is Oman Diabetes Association (ODA) which is a non-governmental and non-profit health organization that continuously works on spreading awareness in the local community about diabetes. Mr. Khalid Al Shaksi addressed the audience on methods to combat diabetes and on finding solutions to minimize its spread and negative impacts on the individual and the society as a whole.
On behalf of Europcar Oman & Bahrain, Ms. Anita Kotian, the Finance Manager along with the management team presented a charitable donation to Prof. Salam Al Kindi, from OHBDA and Dr.Noor, the President of ODA.
The evening culminated in Ms. Anita Kotian, the Finance Manager, and Mr. Ali Al Rajhi, the Chief Happiness Officer, honoring star performers for their outstanding contributions.
