Muscat: Under the auspices of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the student festival "Oman's Renewed Renaissance" will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2025, at Al-Fatah Square in Muscat Governorate, organized by the General Secretariat for National Celebrations.
The General Secretariat for National Celebrations emphasized that this festival, with participation from 8,000 participants from various governorates of Oman, comes in celebration of the fifth anniversary of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq's ascension to the throne and the beginning of Oman's renewed renaissance.
The festival will feature five segments:
1. *The Welcoming Segment*: Expresses the joy and happiness that fills the people of Oman on this grand occasion, with the gracious patronage and honorable presence.
2. *The Knowledge Segment*: Symbolizes education as a fundamental pillar for sustainable development and Oman Vision 2040, highlighting various educational paths and the importance of innovation and scientific research in developing the capabilities of the nation's youth.
3. *The Achieved Promise Segment*: Showcases the accomplishments over the past five years of Oman's renewed renaissance and the attention and follow-up various sectors have received, reflecting on the progress and development journey.
4. *Oman, Land of Peace Segment*: Participants express Oman's authenticity, civilization, the foundations of Shura (consultative governance), and peace as an Omani principle and the close relationships that bind the people of Oman.
5. *Oman Through Time Segment*: In this segment, students and community members from various governorates participate, showcasing Omani heritage and arts that express the genuine love for the nation and loyalty to His Majesty. It highlights the Omanis' dedication to their arts and the passing of traditions from generation to generation.
The festival concludes with a segment expressing loyalty, gratitude, and praise for His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, reaffirming the commitment to move forward under his wise leadership towards a renewed Omani renaissance and sustainable development.
The General Secretariat for National Celebrations emphasized that these festivals aim to enhance values of citizenship, express feelings of loyalty and belonging, showcase the achievements of the renewed renaissance, and highlight heritage. The participation of students and the people of Oman from various governorates demonstrates the solidarity and unity among Omanis.
On this occasion, the General Secretariat for National Celebrations extends its highest reverence, praise, and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, asking Almighty Allah to bless His Majesty, his noble family, and the people of Oman with goodness, happiness, and joy.
