RNO commander receives CTF-152 commander

Muscat,:Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) received in his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison today Brig. Gen. Talal Alkandri, Commander of the Combined Task force (CTF 152) and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.

The two sides exchanged views on several maritime areas of common interest.

Meanwhile, Brig. Gen. Talal Alkandri and his accompanying delegation visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC) today.

Members of the visiting delegation were greeted upon their arrival at the MSC by Commodore Adil Hamoud Al Busaidi, Head of the MSC.

They were briefed on the tactical roles and tasks carried out by the centre for the safety of the Omani maritime environment.

They also toured the centre’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies used in carrying out its national duties.
