Muscat: A workshop titled “Enhancing trade exchange and industrial integration between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" was held in Muscat today.
The workshop explored major opportunities for facilitating exports and streamlining supply chains. It also discussed means of addressing challenges facing exporters in the two countries.
The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). It also saw the participation of Saudi Arabia’s Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the Directorate General of Customs (Royal Oman Police) and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI).
The workshop was attended by Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, and other officials from both sides.
