Muscat: Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion today received Eng. Khalil Ibrahim Ibn Salamah, Deputy Minister for Industry Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
During the meeting, the two sides explored means of enhancing trade exchange and industrial integration between Oman and the KSA. They also reviewed means of facilitating exportation and boosting supply chains.
The meeting touched on challenges facing exporters in the two countries. It also underscored the importance of furnishing a milieu that stimulates economic cooperation and strategic integration between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Saleh Said Masn, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry, Ibrahim Saad Bishan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Sultanate of Oman, Eng. Abdulrahman Al Thukair, CEO of the Saudi Export Development Authority, Eng. Al Badr Fouda, Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Development of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Mohammed Al Sadhan, Vice Governor of the Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority for Operations and several officials from both sides.
