Muscat : His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, affirmed in a statement during his patronage of the opening of the 16th Annual Meeting of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds that the selection of the Sultanate of Oman to host this important event is a clear testimony to its compliance with global standards in governance and sustainability in wealth management and the skill of its development and investment.
His Highness Sayyid Theyazin: “It is fortunate that this hosting comes while our Sultanate has been able - thanks to God Almighty and then with the insightful vision of its great Sultan - to overcome the paths of economic challenges with steady steps. The best evidence of this is its success in reclassifying its credit rating to an investment grade country to continue the paths of stability and prosperity, and open its arms to global investments.
His Highness: "This meeting is a valuable and appropriate opportunity to review the diverse investment potential that the Sultanate of Oman abounds with, strengthen relations with various sovereign funds in countries around the world, and build strategic partnerships that benefit everyone and contribute to achieving the “Oman Vision 2040 ."
