Muscat: After the remarkable success of the past nine editions, Al Mouj Golf course is set to once again host the highly anticipated 10th Edition of the Europcar Open on Friday, December 6th, 2024. This premier corporate golf tournament continues to grow in stature, promising another exciting competition for senior corporate decision makers from Oman, Dubai and Bahrain.
As in previous years, the tournament will feature golfers, competing across categories including Men's Division A, Men's Division B, Ladies and the Inter-Club Challenge.
To mark this milestone, Europcar Oman & Bahrain recently hosted an exclusive luncheon at its new headquarters, welcoming VIPs, Oman Golf Association board members, golf club general managers, sponsors and partners.
Esteemed guests included HE Raul Hernandez, Ambassador of the Philippines; Leslie Ordeman, Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy and Syed Noureddin, Chargé d’Affaires of the Singapore Embassy.
Oman Golf Association was represented by board members Ahmed Jahdhami, Nikhil Sampat & Richard Michelmore – Oman National Team Coach & Director of Golf Development and former Chairman - Mundhir Al Barwani. The clubs were represented by Scott Mc Caw - GM at Al Mouj Golf, Ahmed Al Farsi - GM at Ghala Golf Club, Salim Al Harthy - GM at Ras Al Hamra & Freddie Rextrew – General Manager at La Vie Golf Club.
Other important partners included CEO of Oman American Business Council (OABC) – Rebecca Olson, Maggie Jeans – Founder of British Business Forum (BBF) & Charm Majolica – DIrector of Diplomatic Club.
Peugeot and Aston Martin headline this year as title sponsors, joined by Mistal Watches and Liva Insurance.
