One arrested for possessing illegal substances, psychotropic tablets in North Al Batinah

Muscat: An expatriate has been arrested for the possession of drugs and more than 2,700 psychotropic tablets.

Royal Oman Police said: “The Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Department, led by the North Al Batinah Police, arrested an Asian resident in possession of a quantity of crystal meth, morphine, hashish and more than 2,700 psychotropic tablets.”

"Legal procedures are being completed against him", ROP added.
