Embrace picturesque views and rejuvenate with magical springs in Dhofar's Ayn Hamran

Muscat: Springs flowing with their magic and beauty, bringing tranquility to the tourists and visitors to Ayn Hamran in Dhofar Governorate, with its picturesque views, greenery, and ideal weather.

What distinguishes Ayn Hamran from the rest of the springs is the large number of trees found near it, such as Sidr, fig and hookah. The Ayn is considered a natural and spacious outlet, and it has beautiful sites and hills in the form of plateaus in which tourists can spend enjoyable and memorable times.

Ayn Hamran is one of the springs of water with lush shade. Caves are spread throughout this area. There is also a garden. It is about 17 km away from the Wilayat of Salalah. Livestock are watered from it, in addition to irrigating the surrounding agriculture. Many different trees are spread over it, and visitors visit it throughout the year, especially in the fall season.

The water level is ideal in Ayn Hamran, and it was used in the past for agriculture widespread in the Hamran Plain, affirm many residents of that region. It it is believed that farms growing corn, sugar cane, sweet potatoes, and many other agricultural products benefited from this water.

With every rainy season, there are well-known places at the top of the valley in Ayn Hamran from which springs of water burst, and continue to flow with the continued rainfall for weeks. Its water remains continuous throughout the year with the optimal water level.
