Muscat: Officials at the Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman have offered their condolences at the Iranian Embassy in Muscat on the death of the Iranian president and his accompanying delegation
Oman News Agency (ONA), reported that today, a number of Their Excellencies officials at the Foreign Ministry offered their condolences at the Iranian Embassy in Muscat on the death of President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his accompanying delegation, following the crash of the helicopter they were travelling in in East Azerbaijan Province, northwest of Iran.
They were received by His Excellency Mousa Farhang, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran accredited to the Sultanate of Oman, and members of the diplomatic mission.
They expressed their sincere condolences and sympathy to the embassy, the government and the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Praising the role of the late President of the Republic and his Minister of Foreign Affairs in strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and developing relations between the two friendly countries, and stressing the strength of the good relations between the two countries.
His Excellency the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran accredited to the Sultanate of Oman expressed deep thanks and appreciation for their visit to the embassy headquarters to offer condolences. Wishing continued progress for the Sultanate of Oman and for bilateral relations between the two countries further progress and prosperity.
At the conclusion of the visit, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harithi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign for Political Affairs, wrote expressions of condolences and sympathy in the condolences register at the embassy on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign , asking Allah Almighty to rest the deceased’s souls in peace in paradise, and to bless the friendly Islamic Republic of Iran with continued security and prosperity.
