Two arrested for trying to smuggle drugs into Oman

Muscat: Two smugglers were arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) in Muscat Governorate, for attempting to smuggle more than 30 kilograms of crystal drug into Oman.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "The General Administration for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances arrested two people of Asian nationality in the Wilayat of Quriyat while trying to smuggle more than 30 kilograms of crystal. The legal procedures are being completed against them."
