Six arrested for trying to smuggle drugs into Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested six smugglers for attempting to smuggle more than kg of crystal, 37 kg of hashish and 38,000 pills of psychotropic substances into the Sultanate of Oman.

ROP said in a statement :"The General Administration for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police, arrested six people of Asian nationality on a beach in the Wilayat of Muscat while they were trying to smuggle more than 245 kilograms of crystal, 37 kilograms of hashish and 38,000 pills of psychotropic substances."
