The Royal Oman Police monitors a new fraudulent method involving job offers and warns people against falling for it. A statement issued by ROP said: "The Royal Oman Police warns of a fraudulent method, in which fraudsters communicate with targeted people via text messages containing job offers with a specified daily salary. The statement added that they are required to open bank accounts through which sums of money from various fraud operations can be transferred and then re-transferred to external bank accounts."
