Muscat: Water production in the Sultanate of Oman increased by 4.5 per cent to reach 41,807,800 cubic metres until the end of January 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, when it reached 40,009,300 cubic metres, according to National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) statistics.
The governorates of Dhofar and Muscat recorded an increase in water production by 6.4 per cent and 4 per cent, respectively until the end of January 2023, compared to the same period in 2022.
On the other hand, the total electricity production in the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman until the end of January 2023 rose by 0.3 per cent, reaching 2,285.7 gigawatts per hour, compared to 2,279.9 gigawatts per hour during the same period in 2022.
