Over 30 arrested for entering Oman illegally

Muscat: A total of 31 people have been arrested in Dhofar Governorate on charges of entering the Sultanate of Oman illegally, said the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

ROP said in a statement: “Dhofar Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the Special Tasks Police, has arrested 31 people of African nationality on charges of entering the country illegally. The legal procedures are being completed against them.”

ROP calls on the community to unite and provide more cooperation in combatting these occurrences, by immediately reporting such cases, whether by calling the emergency phone number or going to the nearest police station.
