Muscat: Some are as young as five-year-old, others are in their 80’s. Male, female, rich and poor, they come from different walks of life, but for 30 days every year, they unite with one common goal.
They are the Iftar army of Oman and their mission is always the same – feeding tens of thousands of people every night, for free, to give thanks for what they have.
Today, the ‘Times of Oman’ says thank you to the thousands of Omanis who work behind the scenes to make Iftar evenings so special, for so many. They are the pillars upon which Ramadan is built.
