25th Gulf Cup: Oman, Iraq match not be postponed

Muscat: The Iraqi Football Association has confirmed that the 25th Gulf Cup final match will not be postponed and will take place as per schedule.

The Iraqi News Agency, quoting the Iraqi Football Association, announced that the final match of the Gulf Cup "Basra 25" will be held on time.

This came after circulating news about the possibility of postponing the match after the stampede incident at the entrances to the stadium in which the conclusion of the tournament is held. The stampede led to the death of one person and injured of 60 others.
