Expats arrested for fraud, theft in South Al Batinah

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested three expatriates on charges of fraud and theft in the Sultanate of Oman.

The Royal Oman Police said: "The Police Command of South Al Batinah Governorate arrested three people of Asian nationality on charges of fraud and counterfeiting high value currencies. The infiltrators fled after receiving sums of money from victims to whom they promised high exchange values for low value currencies. The legal procedures are being completed against them."
