Rains expected in these governorates today

Muscat: Rain is expected in a number of governorates of the Sultanate, with the continued flow of clouds accompanying the low depression air groove.

According to the latest weather update by the Directorate General of Meteorology, the weather picture shows the flow of clouds over the governorates of Musandam, North Al Batinah and Al Buraimi, with the possibility of rains. This may expand during the evening to include the governorates of South Al Batinah, Muscat and Al Dhahirah, with the flow of cumulus clouds on the coasts of the Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates.

On Friday, the Wilayat of Shinas, North Al Batinah governorate, and a number of wilayats in the Governorate of Musandam witnessed rains of varying intensity, which led to the descent of the reefs. This necessitated police intervention to regulate traffic on a number of roads in Musandam wilayats.
