Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has foiled an electronic fraud operation being run through an international network.
A statement issued online by ROP said: "The General Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation has thwarted an electronic fraud operation through an international network which deceived victims by promising large cash prizes in exchange for buying fake coupons for a small amount. The legal procedures are being completed against the accused."
