Over 20,000 illegal cigarettes seized from expats in Oman

Muscat: More than 20,000 restricted and banned cigarettes have been seized from a site for expats in the Wilayat of Saham, North Al Batinah Governorate, Oman Customs said. 

"The North Al Batinah Customs Department raided a site for expatriate workers in the Wilayat of Saham and seized 20,400 restricted and banned cigarettes after tracking the vehicle since it entered the Hatta port," Oman Customs said in a statement.
