Ramadan: Omani calligrapher unveils his first handwritten Holy Quran

Muscat: Coinciding with the Holy Month of Ramadan, popular Omani calligrapher Salim bin Khalfan Al Balushi unveiled his first handwritten Holy Quran.
The Quran is wrapped with gazelle leather and weighs one kilogram.
It has a wooden base and is covered with Islamic ornament brass and plated with gold and silver.
