One arrested for drifting in Oman

Muscat: A person has been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP) for drifting in his vehicle.

"A video on social media showed a driver drifting in his vehicle, which is punishable under Traffic Law. The driver was arrested and the vehicle was seized and the procedures against him were completed," General Traffic Department said in a statement.

"Royal Oman Police calls on everyone to abide by traffic rules and regulations, and to make our roads safer for its users," the statement added.
