​Oman transport: Mwasalat to extend Ruwi-Amerat route

Muscat: Route 5 of Ruwi-Amerat will be extended to Al Nahda neighbourhood from June 7, Mwasalat tweeted on its official handle on Monday.
Currently, on the Route 5, the company ferries passengers between Ruwi and Amerat.
Recently, Salim bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, undersecretary, Ministry of Transport and Communications for Transport had said that new routes will be launched in the coming months to enhance the public transport system in Oman.
The company will launch its Al Khoudh route, which will connect the Sultan Qaboos University and the Burj Al Sahwa Roundabout, in July and a number of buses to Sohar and Nizwa will also be increased during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
