Muscat: Muscat Governorate recorded the highest vaccination rate with a total of more than 600,000 vaccinated people.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "The Ministry of Health continues the national campaign for immunisation against COVID-19 for the target groups of 18 years and over with COVID-19 vaccines. The immunisation centres in all governorates of the Sultanate witnessed good turnout since morning on Thursday."
"The Governorate of Muscat recorded the highest vaccination rate, with a total of 666,392 vaccinated people, with a coverage rate of 59 per cent of the total targeted population, followed by the North Al Batinah Governorate with 272,992 people, at 46 per cent, followed by the South Al Batinah Governorate with 174,870 people, with a coverage rate of 51 per cent," added the statement.
