Muscat: People in the country above the age of 45, and those employed in the government sector, will receive first priority when the new batches of COVID-19 vaccines come to the country.
Oman is expected, during the month of June, to receive about 1.25 million vaccine doses, said Badr bin Saif Al Rawahi, the Director of Infectious Diseases Control at the Ministry of Health.
1.1 million doses of the Pfizer jab, and 145,000 of those made by AstraZeneca are expected to arrive.
